About This Piece

Vintage Design

with their minimalist yet elegant lines, these midcentury tables are unusual pieces. The design is simple, even austere, highlighting the quality and contrast of the materials. The ceramic tile tops feature stylized floral motifs, and the colored glaze is extremely delicate. The tiles are beautifully crafted. The bases of both tables are made of square-section metal, with the original yellow paint. This pair of 1950s floating tables is charming and highly decorative. The vibrant coffee tables are captivating and will create a striking effect in a soft or colorful decor.

The tables are antique and date from the 1950s. They are beautifully matched; the pair is nesting: of different heights, one slides beneath the other. The thick top is made of beautifully crafted ceramic. The tiles are colorful and depict superb stylized flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and green. Signs of wear are minimal. The bases are made of square-section metal. The matching yellow paint is original. Traces of oxidation are visible. The set is stable, heavy, thick, and in beautiful condition. Very original, rare, and of very high quality, this pair of tables is unique and very practical for tight spaces.
