Somewhere between a suspension light and a floor lamp, Fulmine (thunderbolt) engages with gravity in an innovative and playful way. The central form, stretched from each end, seems to resist its own emerging, lightning-bolt zig-zag form, creating an essential motif with a punchy graphic appeal. Fulmine offers a modular solution for creating a dialogue with architectural spaces. The brass is brushed with a wax coating to slow down the natural oxidation process, thus creating an alluring finish that ages gracefully over time.
The Chemistry Series grew out of an exploration of the forms and proportions created by the traditional hand-blown glass techniques still used to produce glass in Vicenza, Italy.
