A rare German pendant lamp by Temde, crafted in the 1960s. The lamp features a signature teak wood frame with sculptural, architectural lines, and a handcrafted string shade made of finely wrapped textile threads that diffuse the light beautifully.
The lower diffuser is made of white translucent plastic, designed to soften and evenly distribute the light while concealing the bulb.
The lamp includes its original height-adjustable pulley mechanism, discreetly hidden inside the wooden canopy, allowing flexible installation.
This model is a fine example of Scandinavian lighting design, combining craftsmanship, natural materials, and minimalist aesthetics.
