This cutting and serving board fulfils a functional and decorative function. The edition is limited to 1000 pieces. Each board is marked with the Galaeria Factory logo and serial number. Owning it adds prestige and luxury that only a few can afford. It is made by hand and is characterized by unusual hardness because the material used is in 6-17% fossil in the structure of black oak. Each exclusive board was made of natural black oak created by the Vistula River in 2,500 years. It is an extremely valuable and unique raw material–exceptional quality fossil wood. This wood has a certificate issued by the Absolute Dating Laboratory (Cianowice) and a certificate of authenticity issued by the Wood Technology Institute in Poznań.

This board is preserved using a special ecological impregnation–linseed oil, which does not allow moisture and bacteria to interfere. Linseed oil is a one-of-a-kind substance, taking into account its features–extraordinary durability, naturalness, smoothness, and a gloss to the surface.

Black oak is a fossil wood found in the gravelly-sandy Pradolina rivers, preserved by moisture and deprived access to air and light. It survived for thousands of years at the bottom of the river and as a result of the reaction between the tannins contained in it and iron salts in water or earth over time, it acquired a unique color. 'Polish ebony' has been appreciated by many artists for centuries. Because of the difficulty involved in extracting this raw material and the rarity of its occurrence, it has always been a material used to create furniture only for the 'chosen ones', above all, kings and rulers. To this day, only a few can afford to have works of art made of black oak because of its uniqueness and price, this material over time gains more and more value.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.
You will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.
Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
