It borders on a miracle that the long-lost nativity scene from the famous Tyrolean nativity scene workshop "Giner" with over 140 figures can once again be in the light of day after more than 40 years. Carefully restored and built up, this large Giner crib is incredibly rich in detail. The typical background scenery was created between 1795 and 1810 and takes the viewer from a shepherd's field, which is based on the Tyrolean homeland of the Giner dynasty, via Bethlehem to Jerusalem. In front of this panorama, the imposing dimensions of 280 centimeters long and 160 centimeters deep can accommodate 90 human figures and 58 animals. The sculptures were probably created between 1780 and 1840 and can be attributed to Johann Nepomuk Giner and his son. With their splendid coloration, baroque appearance and careful execution, the nativity figures, which are up to 25 centimeters tall, are sought-after collector's items even as individual pieces. In its entirety and size, the crib is a find of the century.
