Lemons on a striped background is an original contemporary artwork realized by the artist Giovanna Picciau in 1968. Mixed acrylic painting on canvas. Hand signed, dated, titled and technique on the back. Original title: "Limoni su fondo a righe" Giovanna Picciau (1941) was born in Rome where he lives and works. He also lived in London, in Paris where he has set up several solo and group exhibitions and in Turin, the city in which began his artistic career in 1970 working on an extremely analytical painting with direct references to reality, crossed by an equally significant bizarre and surreal vein. Privileged subjects are interior scenes, groups of characters, couples, domestic environments.
