Magnificent glazed brown terracotta grease pot, south west of France. 50s

Old glazed terracotta pot. Pot used at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century to store confit, foie gras, etc.
The interior is entirely varnished brown.
It will look great in your interior.

These pots were used to preserve fat and meat. They were used for centuries in French homes.
Traces of time are visible. A hole drilled in the bottom.
