Rare Pair of Estelle and Erwin Laverne 1957 "Champagne" dining room chairs for Laverne International USA. Made of green molded acrylic glass on a polished aluminum base with a white leather cushion, the chairs swivel comfortably. Inspired by Saarinen's "Tulip" chair, the Champagne is part of Laverne's "Invisible Group." The slender pedestal base and transparent shell give the design a visual lightness and timeless sophistication.
