Vintage Design

This rare and beautifully preserved set of five cut crystal decanters is a superb example of Anglo-Irish glassmaking, dating from the early 19th century (c. 1800–1830). Each decanter is expertly crafted in the harlequin pattern, showcasing deep diamond-point cuts with alternating oval printies—lens-like cuts detailed with intricate cross-hatching.

The decanters have broad, flat bases finished with classic starburst cuts and subtly bulbous bodies that taper into slender, elegantly fluted necks. Each neck is mounted with a smooth sterling silver collar, added in the 1960s by respected British silversmiths, giving the set a rare and refined dual-period quality.
