About This Piece

Vintage Design

This rare cart was designed by Julius ( Gyula ) Kaesz in early 1930s. Possibly only one piece was custom made. The Chinese style was very popular between Hungarian architects and interior designers in late 1920s and early 1930s.

The materials used: stained mahogany and French polished beechwood, original orange color linoleum, and the original swivel wheels.
