Vintage Design

An original settle bench salvaged from a Hungarian farmhouse. The bench has been left in its original condition, made from pine and has been historically repainted in a khaki green finish with some wear to the paintwork in places. The bench has some lovely original detailing, with a lift up seat retailing an under seat storage section. Dimensions : Height: 88cm (taken at backrest) Seat height: 48cm Width: 191cm (cm including feet) Depth: 41.5cm. Origin : Hungary. Circa : 1920s. Workshop Report : In vintage condition, structurally sound. It has some great patina and age related markings. There are some historical repairs to the bench, any historical woodworm has been treated.
