Vintage Design

This stylish Italian Art Deco library cabinet has a very luxurious look, due to the use of uncommon materials: Macassar wood, goatskin and brass and Murano glass for the handles.

The body is all veneered in Macassar wood, while the doors are covered in parchment leather or goatskin. The structure of the handles is very beautiful and refined, made of polished brass and Murano glass. In the lower part of the body of the cabinet, there are two drawers, which can be opened using the same handles. It has an original shape with a large circle that tightens down and runs into the form the leg. The parchment leather design forms a set of rhombuses on the doors. Behind the doors, there are shelves, which divide the interior. The internal structure is very well finished with an excellent polish. The handles are small works of art, formed by a curved glass rod inserted inside a little brass box.
