Syphons, commonly known as "seltzers", are glass bottles with the function of dispensing soda water. These items were widely used in the most fashionable Italian bars in the 1950s to make popular cocktails of all kind. This specific vintage seltzer in ligth blue glass is particularly rare due its shape and Wührer logo on the glass and Pietro Wührer Brescia engraving on the neck.

Collector's note:

The Wührer is the oldest Italian brewery. It was founded in Brescia by Franz Xaver Wührer in 1829.

The original headquarters of the Wührer brewery was in the center of Brescia ( IT ), in via Trieste, where a plaque still remembers that place today.
