A delightful 1905 liberty london hand carved japanese floral side table. These tables are often misrepresented as plant stands although originally they were meant to be lamp or wine side tables. Hand carved in japan and then sent to the english harbor where they were put together again at the beginning of the 1900s. This is the larger version ( 74 cm high ). Ps it is remarkably light.
