About This Piece

Abstract Composition is an original contemporary artwork realized by the artist Jean Dewasne (1921-1999) in the 1970s. Mixed colored on aluminum plate and varnish. Label on the back. Numbered and Signed by the artist in pencil on the back of the work. Plate n. 5. Edition of 39/100. Edited by Lahumière 88 Bd de Courcelles Paris 17ème. Good conditions except for a very light lack of color on plate. Jean Dewasne (1921-1999) was a French Postwar & Contemporary painter who was born in 1921.He is considered as one of the masters of constructive abstraction. An established painter and sculptor, Jean Dewasne has worked in a variety of styles throughout his long career.
