Lacquered Macassar Side Tables by Paolo Barracchia for Roman Deco, 1970s, Set of 4 About This Piece Vintage Design A pair of macassar ebony table lamps with original silk shades, paired with a pair of macassar ebony bedside tables by Paolo Barracchia for Roman Deco from the line of ‘Ebony Padouk Ensemble’. The pair of lamps have a rectangular stepped shape with sharp edges in lacquered macassar ebony surfaces which are surrounded by a tubular wood frame and brass fittings. All four surfaces of each lamp have different grain and you can use as facing any side you prefer. The silk shade comes in pagoda style shape with beige silk lining and burned orange outer silk. The pair of one tiered bedside tables have a rectangular shape on a pedestal with sharp edges at the bottom and smooth curved edges on the table top surface. Lacquered macassar ebony surfaces inside the tier and outside with the top surface having a lighter shade border and the macassar ebony centered. All surfaces of each bedside table have different grain.
