Vintage Design

Rare modular sofa model Lara designed by Roberto Pamio, Renato Toso and Noti Massari in 1968 for Stilwood.
Polyurethane rubber structure, cotton bouclé fabric, restored, excellent condition.

Designed in 1968 by Renato Toso, Noti Massari and Roberto Pamio and produced for a relatively short period due to the high production costs by Corrado Ruosi's Stilwood company, this model is extremely scenographic, it was a true intuition in a historical moment in which society was changing and so was the concept of living.
Today, as then, the Lara model interprets the need to create islands of relaxation dedicated to maximum emotional comfort, revealing a strong aptitude also for hospitality, thanks to its natural elegance.
First appeared in the magazine Domus n. 538 of January 1974, The sofa is made up of two sculptural elements that are linked together in a rigorous aggregation of volumes, with monobloc seats marked by curvilinear shapes that accentuate its strong personality.
The sofa has been meticulously overhauled and reupholstered at our in-house upholstery shop respecting all the details and materials originally used, guaranteeing its originality and elegance.
