Beautifully decorated and aged, large Japanese bronze jardiniere c1915. Footed lobed body with collar rim. Applied decoration of birds amongst flowering cherry branches over the water. Stunning verdigris patination emphasizing relief decoration. Verdigris to the base and internally. The jardiniere measures 22 cm in height, maximum width is approximately 31 cm. The internal diameter at the rim is 26 cm. A very lovely decorative piece.
