Bring character and mid-century sophistication to your space with this striking pair of 60's Mid Century Modern church candle holders.

Crafted from amber and clear glass, each candlestick features an amber glass bowl nestled upon a bulbous amber neck leading ones eye to a beautiful multi stranded pierced clear glass upright (created using multiple fused glass sections along each strand). The overall effect is stunning; blending sinuous forms with sculptural lines and vibrant colour for bold visual impact.

These candlesticks are perfect for dressing a dining table, mantle, or sideboard. The amber glass catches candlelight beautifully; a prominent centrepiece to create a warm aura in any room.

The candleholders are solid glass and are therefore fairly weighty. They are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. There is evidence of glass bubble inclusions to both pieces formed during production. There are also pontil marks between the upper transition from amber to clear glass with a rough edge on the underside of one candle. It's unnoticeable and only evident if searching for it.

There are slight variations in amber hue and height / upper bowl angles between both pieces (siblings not twins) but this leans in to the true handcrafted and unique nature of these exquisite candle holders.

The inner diameter of the bowls is 10cm and 10.5cm respectively. They would be best suited to a church candle with a max diameter of 9.5cm

The pieces are unmarked and exact attribution remains speculative - but the high-quality craftsmanship is clearly unmistakeable.
