About This Piece

Vintage Design

Beautiful large handwoven rölakan wool rug designed and signed by Ingegerd Silow, one of Sweden’s most celebrated textile artists. This mid-century modern flat weave features a geometric abstract pattern in vibrant tones of green, yellow, pink, brown, black and white.

Hand-knotted fringes at both ends and signed IS. The fringes are worn, please see photos.
