Vintage Design

This elegant lounge chair is a characteristic design of Swedish Scandinavian Modern and is attributed to Otto Schulz and his BOET workshop in Gothenburg. The organically curved lines, the wide, sweeping armrests, and the harmonious proportions combine Art Deco influences with the warm, handcrafted aesthetic of 1940s Swedish design. Comparable models are documented in contemporary BOET catalogs and in international design galleries.

The elegantly curved wooden frame is particularly striking, with its flowing armrests appearing to merge seamlessly into the front legs. The generous seat and the slightly reclined backrest ensure exceptional comfort and lend the chair a distinctly sophisticated appearance.

The chair has been newly upholstered in a high-quality, finely textured bouclé or chenille fabric in a warm, natural tone that harmonizes beautifully with the reddish-brown wood. This makes the chair equally suitable for classic and modern interiors.
