A large & stunning antique pedestal desk of absolutely top quality. This dates from around the 1920-30’s, and is in the classic Georgian style.

The figured walnut veneers are beautiful throughout, all built on solid mahogany construction. there is fine herringbone inlay on all edges, the attention to details here is wonderful. It has the original tooled green leather writing surface which has just the right amount of wear and patina. The drawers have fine dovetailed joints & are graduated in depth. They also have the original brass handles.

This desk has canted corners and sits on short cabriole legs with shell carvings & original brass casters.

We have had this French polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
