About This Piece

Vintage Design

This characterful wardrobe captivates with the luminosity of its wood, whose natural patina with golden highlights radiates immediate warmth. True to the Louis-Philippe style, it boasts clean lines enhanced by a removable ogee cornice.

Behind its two large doors lies a functional interior crafted from solid wood, combining hanging space and shelving. The refinement continues in the details: the chiseled brass keyhole escutcheons conceal a perfectly preserved original mechanism. with its sturdy square base, this sound and authentic wardrobe will find its place in any interior, from the most classic to the most modern.

A piece of traditional French craftsmanship dating from around 1850, assembled with wooden pegs. Smooth opening and closing. Functional lock, key included. Varnished shelves for easy maintenance. This wardrobe comes from a bedroom in a large stone house in a tiny village in southern Aveyron.
