This magnificent Louis XV armchair from the second half of the 18th century embodies French elegance and masterful craftsmanship to perfection. An exceptional piece of furniture with historical significance that bears the original stamp of the renowned master carpenter L. C. Carpentier, who achieved his master's degree on July 26, 1752.

L. C. Carpentier, known for his exquisite work commissioned by the duc Philippe d'Orléans, made furniture for some of France's most important residences, including the Palais Bourbon and the Château de Chantilly. Its distinctive style combines curved lines, elaborate carvings and a harmonious proportion typical of the Louis XV era.
