Vintage Design

This refined pair of French bedside tables was crafted in the Louis XV tradition during the mid-20th century. The design reflects the enduring influence of 18th-century French decorative arts, expressed through balanced proportions, gently curved lines, and carefully executed marquetry.

The rectangular tops are adorned with fine floral marquetry, providing a restrained decorative focus while maintaining a sophisticated overall appearance. The veneered surfaces display a warm tone and attractive grain, complemented by original decorative bronze mounts that subtly emphasize the contours of the pieces.

The tables rest on elegant cabriole legs, contributing to a light and harmonious silhouette. Their compact scale and well-considered proportions make them particularly suitable for use as bedside tables, while also allowing them to function effectively as side tables in living spaces or reception areas.
