Beautiful antique open French 19th century display bookcase or bibliotheque.

The straight lines are classic decorations of the Louis XVI style. The interior shelves are removable and adjustable in height. You can display your items and books according to your wishes.

The inside is made blue, which gives it a beautiful fresh appearance. The exterior of the cabinet still contains the original greyish paint, that gives this bookcase a true original patina.

This large bookcase is in a very good condition for an antique that has been restored. The wear of this armoire is consistent with age and use and is in good antique condition.

For transport the bookcase will be taken apart and will consist of the top, sides, back parts, bottom and shelves. So don’t be afraid if you need a bookcase in a narrow space or hallway. This will be possible because the bookcase can be dismantled.
