Jan Vanek pair of lounge chairs in bentwood and patinated canvas, Praque 1940s. Pair of elegant armchairs designed by Czech architect Jan Vanek in the 1940s, who was a contemporary of Jindrich Halabala. These chairs are upholstered with a patinated canvas seat and have an elegant patinated bent wooden frame. The bentwood frame shows traces of age and use but is overall in very good original condition with an amazing patina. These armchairs would be an eye-catching addition to any interior, such as a living room, family room, screening room or office. It also perfectly fits in a hospitality or corporate location like a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club or luxury boutique.
