This is a maritime seascape oil painting by the renowned marine and equine artist David Chambers. 'Trade Winds' is an original, oil on board painting from David’s recent collection.

A choppy sea at first light sees two large trading vessels navigate the undulating stretch before them. A soft central cloud, embellished by the subtle glow of the sunlight gives an altogether warm feeling to a scene with copious blue hues. The jaunty foreground ship fills the frame wonderfully, whilst the playful gulls add a natural element and are a key feature of David's maritime art.
