Vintage Design

Medium-sized French '' faux bamboo '' mirror with light beech wood frame. The name says it all, faux bamboo or fake bamboo. This way of making furniture and products was extremely popular around 1900. Bamboo was of course an unknown product at that time, which was not found in Europe. Hence, furniture makers copied it. At the bottom of the mirror it is a bit weathered as can be seen in the photos. A perfect medium-sized model suitable for hallway or toilet.
