About This Piece

Vintage Design

An elegant set of four Italian dining chairs, dating back to the 1960s and crafted from high-quality bamboo and rattan. These chairs are a magnificent example of the organic, artisanal style, a symbol of Italian excellence in the use of natural materials.

The design is distinguished by a high-arched backrest with a refined diamond-shaped "cannage" weave (lattice work), which lends visual lightness and ergonomic support. The seat is made of dense, durable bamboo slats. The frame features elegant reinforcing arches under the seat and tapered legs, with decorative and structural rattan bindings that enhance the natural look and stability.

The polished bamboo finish has a beautiful honey patina with the natural knots of the stem exposed, making each chair a unique piece. This set is perfect for adding a touch of exoticism, boho-chic, or mid-century elegance to a modern dining room or chic conservatory.

Condition
The set is in excellent vintage condition for its age. The frames are solid, and the weave of the backrests is intact and taut. There are light, natural signs of use on the bamboo consistent with age, which do not compromise its aesthetics or functionality, but rather attest to its authenticity.
