Mid-Century Danish Verona Pendant Lamp by Svend Middelboe for Nordisk Solar, 1960s

Vintage Design

The lamp was designed by Svend Middelboe in 1962 and manufactured by Nordisk Solar. It is a pearl of not only Danish but also global design.

The individual lamp shadows are arranged in a funnel shape towards the center so that the light is reflected at the top and bottom of the lamp. The reflection ensures even light distribution over the lamp surface.

The lamp is in average condition, has a few chips and discoloration.

The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and a new 2-meter braided cable has been installed. A canopy is attached to each lamp.
