This Italian vintage Mid-Century Modern carved, lacquered and parcel giltwood credenza is an original multi-purpose storage cabinet featuring gorgeous paneled front doors inlaid with rectangular geometric high relief patterns that are repeated on the drawers and adorn also the sides, fitted with painted decorative hardware. This long rectangular sideboard features four drawers atop four raised paneled doors, fitted with its original keys, that reveal a very spacious storage compartment with one long shelf inside for plenty of space. The cabinet is enriched by painted and parcel gilt metal knobs and hinges and rests on a flat molded base. This buffet is painted in two different shades of blue with a sophisticated mat effect and the shiny gold accents highlight its beautiful geometrical motifs. Its versatile design and size will allow for use as a chest, buffet or credenza. This Italian Mid-Century cabinet has a great scale and would work well in a dining area as a buffet, or would be equally as nice used in a living room as a sideboard or in a bedroom or bathroom for storing tablecloths and blankets.
