About This Piece

Vintage Design

Vintage four-light chandelier manufactured by Svetila Kozole in Dol pri Hrastniku, Slovenia, former Yugoslavia, circa 1970s. The chandelier features a geometric black metal frame with four sculptural clear pressed-glass shades, creating an attractive play of light when illuminated. It retains its original manufacturer’s label marked “Svetila Kozole”, article L-08-30 and 4 × 40W. All four original glass shades are intact with no chips, cracks or breaks. A distinctive example of Slovenian and Yugoslav Mid-Century Modern lighting design.
