Rug from the 1970s in shades of orange with a pattern typical of the time in black.

All our rugs are cleaned in a professional rug laundry. The first step of the cleaning process consists of a thorough beating of the rug to remove dust and mites, if any. The subsequent pre-wash with a PH neutral soap removes stains. During the main wash, the rug is washed by hand through and through wet - a special soap is gentle on the fibers and preserves the rug's natural wool grease. Machine pressing and spinning are used for initial dewatering, after which the rugs are hung to dry in permanent circulating air.
