Mid-Century Storage Cabinet with 2 Compartments on Metal Legs, 1960s

Storage unit/ cabinet/cupboard from the 60s. The cabinet has a good size, neither too big nor too small. Made of wood with a Striped,mahogany-colored veneer finish. There are 2 openings on the front, a lower part and an upper part, both open and close properly (the 2 keys are present and work). There is a brass color edging in the middle. The storage compartment are spacious ( W: 78 D: 38 H 45.5) each with a removable shelf if needed (Top shelf: W: 78 D: 25 / Bottom shelf: W: 78 D31) .The piece rests on black metal legs with adjustable and functional chrome-colored round ends. The legs give height and ensure elegance and lightness to the piece, while the side panels with smooth angles, bring dynamism and originality. Finally, the color of the wood has a warm, cozy, shiny shade and will be an eye catcher in an entryway, bedroom or in a living room. The piece is stable and sturdy. The piece is in excellent original condition. Tiny traces of previous usage and patina of time on the top (see photo),side panels, the interior and exterior of the structure, the brass and legs in relation to its age (see photos), an old mark of usage on the bottom of the top compartment, and on the inside edging of the left bottom door (see photos next to a 1 cent coin for perspective). The piece has been checked, delicately cleaned and the surface polished, to retain the rich and original patina of time.
