This high-quality Kazuki side chair was designed in 1968 by the Japanese Architect Kazuhide Takahama (* 1930) for the Italian manufacturer Simon International in Bologna, which is part of Gavina. The chair is composed of 4 plywood parts featuring high gloss lacquer surfaces. Under the lead of Dino Gavina, the company was the first to exploit the ancient traditional Japanese techniques of lacquered furniture within the modern manufacturing process.
