Niels Moller Model 56 & Model 75 Teak & Papercord Dining Chairs Set of 12 1960

Magnificent set of twelve Niels Otto Møller Model 56 (2) and Model 75 (10) Teak & papercord dining chairs manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik Denmark, circa 1960, there are two model 56 carvers and ten model 75 dining chairs, total twelve chairs, the solid teak frames have a rich figured wood grain and a warm colour with papercord seats, designed originally in 1954 these chairs date to circa 1960, the organic curves are carved from solid teak frames with a rich figured grain and a warm earthy colour, these chairs have been professionally restored to perfection, the frames have been lightly sanded back, oiled and waxed leaving a beautiful clean satin finish, the chairs are offered in excellent condition, maker's stamp to the underside, six of the chairs have new papercord seats, the other six chairs have been covered in original velvet covers since they were bought new in 1960 so they are offered in excellent condition but obviously not new, reserve now.

The chairs are offered in excellent condition having been fully restored by our professional restorer, new papercord to six of the chairs, the frames of the chairs are solid with no weakness to the joints, each chair is stamped with original maker's stamp.
