Vintage Design

Stunning vintage modernist table from the 1950s, recognizable by its zebrawood veneer, a precious wood prized for its striking contrasting brown and black grain.

The tabletop features a very elegant symmetrical design, typical of high-end veneers of the period.

The table rests on four tapered legs in dark-stained wood, finished with brass sabots that add a chic and refined touch.

Its light and slender silhouette perfectly embodies the mid-century modernist aesthetic.

Finish: Gloss varnish

Two extension leaves can be added using the side slides provided for this purpose (extension leaves are missing but can be recreated).

The tabletop has a few scratches, visible in the photos, consistent with its age, but the table is in very good overall condition, stable, and ready to use.
