The great pieces of hi-fi equipment of the 80s.
Basically it's the legendary NAD 3020 amplifier (designed by Bjørn Erik Edvardsen, exemplified the particularity of this house, the ability to get big power, obtained with small dimensions) plus a NAD 4020 tuner in a Walnut wooden ''Case''.
It creates the typical sweet and warm NAD richness that everyone talks about in these models.
Steve Guttenberg at Cnet recently pitted the 3020 amplifier - with the same circuit - against an Audioengine N22 amplifier and reported that ''at 30, the 3020 beat the N22 on every point''.
The output is remarkable for 20 watts claimed (in 8 ohms). Reliability is definitely high: no problems reported in three decades of history.
You can also connect to your computer and play music from Synology NAS, Google Play and other online sources.
According to specialist literature, the power source and components of this generation of NAD equipment were over-specular compared to competitors.
