About This Piece

Rare and exceptional original color photograph from NASA dated April 1972.

In good condition (it shows tiny marks of use visible in the blacks), it represents the astronaut John W. Young who stands in the shadow of the lunar module behind the ultraviolet camera operating on the lunar soil . Around 180 photographs were taken by the camera. The color effects, white-black-gold, bring incredible charm to this shot.
