A stunning set of of six 1960s Norwegian Rosewood & chrome slatted dining chairs by Hans Brattrud for Hove Mobler. This version features the lower-back design with chromed-steel sleigh legs. The chairs are designed with a wonderful ergonomic form where the sitter melds into the design of the chair providing excellent support and comfort. The slatted curved backs hug the sitter's lower-back and have just the right amount of flexibility to still remain sturdy. The chairs were sourced from one previous owner who lovingly looked after them which one can see from the images. It is worth noting that two of the chairs are slightly lighter than the other four but this is hardly noticeable. There is no damage, chips or splits to the Rosewood slats which is remarkable considering their age and use. One image illustrates on one chair some wear to the chrome where some rust is apparent and in others there is some pitting to the chrome which is age related. The Hove Mobler label is present on the underside of some of the chairs.
