René Gabriel Patinated Oak Sideboard, France, 1940s This mid-century sideboard, crafted from patinated French oak, was designed by René Gabriel in the 1940s in France. It was part of a collection of emergency furniture created for war victims, which is reflected in its simple and functional design. The sideboard features two storage units and five drawers, and it has developed a beautiful patina over time.
