A large-sized bowl is a great example of artistic glass. Made in a difficult, time-consuming and extremely precise technique called filigree glass or Venetian glass.

The presented bowl impresses with a beautiful, perfect form and extremely precise decoration reminiscent of op-art motifs. The deeply recessed central part goes into wide, spreading edges, on which one can observe the precision and craftsmanship of the artist, who perfectly formed the shape, creating a pattern. The weave of black, rhythmically drawn lines, rotates inward to create and illusory motif. These types of illusionist designs that give the impression of movement are typical of op-art painting often created using mathematical calculations and a computer.

The combination of colors and forms refers to the best avant-garde classics.
