Vintage Design

Cozy club armchair with curved armrests made of painted wood.

The subtle design complemented a modern lounge atmosphere.
The armrests and feet have signs of wear.
The cover and the upholstery have been renewed.

Jindřich Halabalas was a Czech furniture designer and university lecturer. His work is a link between the innovative Czech Cubism from 1910, the Art Deco of the early 1920s and the European Mid Century Modern, after the Second World War. His most successful designs bear the Bauhaus design language.
