Vintage Design

Beautiful shallow wall cupboard made of walnut wood with a deep warm color. Designed by Abraham Patijn for Zijlstra furniture factory in Joure. It is a cabinet from the Poly-z series.

The playfully arranged sideboard has a display cabinet on the left that is closed with 1 sliding glass door and 1 wooden panel. The doors slide very smoothly through the guides by pushing the brass handle, and the glass door has a milled handle. Behind the sliding doors is the original glass shelf.
Above the glass cupboard you will find an open compartment where you can place a radio or other nice home accessories, for example.

The other right half of the cabinet has two compartments that can be used as bookcases and in the middle a flap cabinet with the same handle as on the wooden sliding panel. The flap is held open in an angled position by the original brass flap box fittings.

The whole stands on matte black metal legs, which makes it lift off the ground and give it an empty character.

The case has been thoroughly cleaned and is in very good condition for its age. The cabinet can be used immediately.
