Antique Chinese Raincoat & Hat Qing Dynasty Circa 1900s, ethnographic object.
A very rare and in pristine condition, traditional Chinese raincoat consisting of an apron skirt, cape and hat made entirely of several layers of thick palm tree and coconut fibres.
These raincoats were used by farmers, rice pickers and fishermen in South China during the Qing Dynasty from 1644 to 1911.
This specific set is in beautiful and completely original condition.
The set is robust and can be worn or displayed as a beautiful decorative or collector's item.
