Vintage Design

The Reigate rocking chair and matching footstool was designed by William Plunkett in the 1964. Know for his ground breaking and sculptural design it won a Design Centre award in 1968 and the V&A hold an example in their permanent collection. The main frame is nylon coated steel in dark grey with back supports in an anodized aluminium alloy.

Restoration and Damage Details	Light wear consistent with age and use, Reupholstered, The item has new Pirelli webbing and new cushions in Abraham Moon Mustard wool fabric. The frame is in very good original condition with the odd sign of wear and tear. Please contact for a fabric sample as colours may vary slightly from the images.
