About This Piece

Vintage Design

Beautiful, patinated set consisting of 6 cognac brown De Sede RH 305 leather chairs. The design comes from Robert Haussmann in the 1950s. The frame is made of flat oval steel tube. These cantilever chairs make wonderful dining chairs if you want guests to sit comfortably. Alternatively, they can also be used as conference chairs in meeting rooms with style.

About the Maker

Like many luxury leather goods brands, furniture-manufacturing company de Sede started out as a saddle-making atelier. Based in Klingnau—located in northern Switzerland near the German border—the company traces its high-end furniture production back to 1965, when the original family-run business incorporated and began to collaborate with international designers on the creation of handmade, premium-leather-clad chairs, lounges, and sofas.
