About This Piece

Very beautiful nude painting, oil on canvas. Subject, young naked woman kneeling holding a small candle. Very soft colors from pale yellow to beige through white, the lips are red, the skin is light and tinged with pink, the hair is black. Very relaxing and gentle atmosphere. Signed Robert De Miro, painter from Limousin France, dated 98 lower right. Quite large format 60cm high by 50cm wide, 1.5cm thick. Unframed. The technique is pleasing to the eye and the body well mastered. Very good general condition, a few small marks of time, particularly on the edges, small traces of friction, small paint losses, a few small discreet stains and small scratches. A defect just above the girl's forehead, small lack of paint. About 590gr. Attaches to the wood at the back for hanging.
