About This Piece

Vintage Design

Round mirror with double beveled glass, one central and one serving as a frame, both anchored to a round solid wood base on the back, produced in the 1970s, designers Gallotti and Radice. The mirror is in excellent condition.
The Italian company Gallotti&Radice, which deals in interior furnishings, was initially founded as a manufacturer of interior lamps. Founded in 1955 out of Pierangelo Gallotti and Luigi Radice's desire for innovation and passion for glass, Gallotti & Radice decided to move away from its initial production of lamps and expand its range of interior furnishings to include tables and chairs, storage furniture, and office furniture. The history of Gallotti & Radice began in 1955 under the impetus of Pierangelo Gallotti and Luigi Radice. The idea behind this initiative was clear from the outset: to create a space—both ideal and material—in which to express their passion for glass and crystal. The arrival of the 1990s and the leap into the new millennium marked the brand's success on national and international markets. The brand's production became increasingly diverse, ranging from mirrors to consoles, trolleys to storage furniture.
